Samuel Ejnes is a freelance sound designer / re-recording mixer based out of Los Angeles, CA. Beginning his career as a music engineer in Rhode Island, Sam attended Emerson College in Boston, MA. There, he worked in Mix “B”, Emerson’s 5.1 mix-to-pix suite, learning the theory and practical applications of sound design and mixing. In 2009, he received an EVVY Award in Outstanding Sound Design for the holiday slasher short “On a Dark and Chilly Night”. Since moving to LA, Sam has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from web shorts and advertising spots to indie features and corporate branding. Aside from his duties as a sound designer / re-recording mixer, Sam is an avid photographer and amateur cook.
